SavingStar is a free website and mobile app that is great for extra coupon savings.
It has digital coupons for more than 24,000 supermarkets and drugstores. Instead of getting the discount at the cash register, the savings are added to your SavingStar account. Once you earn $5, you can choose a cash payout, an Amazon gift card, or a donation to American Forests (a charity that protects woodlands).
If your account is inactive for a year, then you’ll get dinged a $2 a month fee. Avoid that charge by activating, redeeming an offer, or getting a payout.
The mobile app works on Android and Apple iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch).
